The two-story house with a bathhouse on the ground floor is made of chopped logs. Such a house is suitable for those who like to regularly visit the bathhouse, but there is not enough space on its site for a separate building. The design of the 8x7 meter bathhouse provides a simple and comfortable layout; the second floor is designed in three versions. The customer can choose one of them and also make his own adjustments. A terrace 1.7 meters wide and 5 meters long is designed in front of the entrance. Here you can put furniture for relaxing or eating. On the ground floor of a country house-bath there are: a vestibule, a kitchen, a recreation room with turning staircase and a fireplace or stove, a steam room, a bathroom and a shower room. Steam room area 6 sq. m, this allows you to install a special stove and benches on several levels. On the second floor in all options a balcony of 7 square meters is designed. m. In the first option there is a recreation room with billiards and a small bedroom. The second has a bathroom, a hall, two bedrooms, one of them with access to a balcony. Such a project cannot be built on every site, for small land plots it won't fit. But reducing the area can affect the functionality and convenience of the bathhouse.

The 8 by 8 m bathhouse is a spacious and roomy building, with everything you need. Bathhouse designs can be very different: you can create them yourself, find ready-made option or order the preparation of a project from specialists. The first two options are cheaper, but the advantage of the latter is that the design will take into account the characteristics of your site and personal wishes. But this does not mean at all that finished drawing the baths will be uncomfortable. There are many projects on the Internet, so choosing the right one is easy.

Since the 8 by 8 bathhouse is spacious, all four main rooms can easily fit in it: a dressing room, a steam room, a washing room and a relaxation room. The dressing room can be small, you need to place hooks and a wardrobe in it, and many also store firewood in it. There is no need to make the dressing room spacious, since it serves as a hallway.

The size of the steam room depends on how many people will visit it in the future. In the steam room you need to fit a stove and... Shelves can be arranged in one or several rows. It is recommended to make them at least 2 m long, in which case you can sit on them not only while sitting, but also lying down.

The washing room can be spacious or small, slightly larger than a shower stall. It all depends on your wishes.

It is better to make the relaxation room spacious, since the whole company will relax in it between trips to the steam room. You need to put a table and chairs in the room, if the space allows, it is also possible to place a TV, a pool table, etc.

An 8 by 8 bathhouse is quite spacious, so projects of this size often also include a bathroom and a guest room. Obviously, their presence will make the bathhouse more comfortable and functional. In addition, and importantly, you can spend the night in it. If you plan to build a building next to your home, then you will have a place where your guests can stay. If you build a building on summer cottage, then you will have a place where you can stay overnight. You can also do it in the bathhouse small kitchen, in which case it will turn into a whole house.

Bathhouse 8x8 m: what material to choose for construction?

A bathhouse made of aerated concrete is also an environmentally friendly option, the material has good level fire safety, it is hygienic, durable. The blocks have enough big sizes, so building a bathhouse from them is quite simple. There is no need to adjust them, and if necessary, the blocks are easy to cut.

Brick bath- this is a reliable and durable structure that will serve you for many years. Brick is also natural material, but unlike wood, it does not burn and is resistant to rot and insects. Building with bricks is more difficult than with blocks and will also take significantly longer due to small sizes materials. It is recommended to build a bathhouse from bricks only if you have experience in construction, and also if you plan to entrust the construction of the bathhouse to professionals.

Features of the construction of a bathhouse 8x8 m

The construction of any building begins with the foundation. If a simple one can be done on a simple one columnar foundation, then for a large bath you need to choose a more reliable base. Although if you build frame bath, then this option is also acceptable.

For a bathhouse made of timber, aerated concrete, expanded clay concrete and other materials, a strip foundation is suitable.

The best option is a roof with a slight slope. In this case, the snow will not linger on the slope. If you still plan to build a bathhouse with a large angle of inclination, then you need to strengthen the roof by installing additional supports for the rafters.

An 8x8 bathhouse is usually complemented by a bathroom and other amenities, so you need to carefully consider communications. If the project includes a large sink, then it is better to make not one drain, but several, since one may not cope. In this case, it is also advisable to make a couple of taps.

When conducting electrical wiring, follow safety precautions. The sauna itself has an increased risk of fire, and if you build a sauna from wood, the risk increases significantly.

After the construction of the bathhouse, you can proceed to its finishing. Usually for interior decoration use clapboard. This material is environmentally friendly, has good sound insulation, moisture resistant and easy to install. Lining can be of different types, so you can choose the material to suit your taste.

The only caveat is that for the steam room you need to use material made from deciduous trees, not coniferous ones, since the latter, when heated, release resins that are harmful to humans. But it is perfect for decorating a rest room, as it exudes a pleasant pine aroma.

Suitable for finishing a sink ceramic tile, she will help in creating original interior. But if you are laying tiles on the floor, then choose non-slip tiles or place wooden pallets on top.

Himalayan salt and decorative stone will help decorate the bathhouse.

The last stage is arranging the furniture. Don't overcrowd the bathhouse, leave more free space. And also don’t forget about various decorative elements: paintings, decorative shelves, figurines, etc. It is these little things that complete the design and make the room especially cozy.

The cost of building a log bathhouse 8x8 without finishing under the roof is 514,000 rubles
